The St. Peter Herald recently wrote about Kim Spears' run for State House in its article, "District 19A race pits Rep. Clark Johnson against North Mankato Councilman Kim Spears."

From the article:

“If I were elected I would try and build a coalition,” says Spears. And a bipartisan approach is going to be necessary, he adds, to deal with what he considers the top priority in the District 19A race – safety, management and labor issues which have surfaced at the Minnesota Security Hospital in St. Peter.

Young Guns program puts Miller 'On the Radar'

GOP 1st District Congressional candidate Aaron Miller has received "On the Radar" status from the national Young Guns program. From the Rochester Post-Bulletin:

First District GOP candidate Aaron Miller's campaign is starting to get the attention of the national Republican party.

On Tuesday morning, the National Republican Congressional Campaign announced Miller had achieved "On the Radar" status in its Young Guns program. To make the list, Miller's campaign had to meet certain fundraising and organizing benchmarks.

Victory Office opening in Mankato

Don't miss the Grand Opening of the Mankato GOP Victory Office on Tuesday, June 17. The Victory Office will be helping endorsed candidates in statewide and federal races and will have campaign supplies like signs, stickers and t-shirts available.

The event kicks off at 7 p.m. Those scheduled to attend include: Gubernatorial candidate Jeff Johnson, congressional candidate Aaron Miller, District 19A and 19B candidates Kim Spears and Dave Kruse and Connor McFadden, the son of U.S. Senate candidate Mike McFadden.

Kim Spears to run for District 19A seat

North Mankato City Councilor Kim Spears has announced he will challenge Rep. Clark Johnson for the House District 19A seat, which covers Nicollet County.
